[CASE STUDY] *LIFE COACHING* (WEBSITE DESIGN)

Hi there. It’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative. Today, I’m showing off the website for Emiley Kelley. She is a health and wellness coach in Portland, Oregon. She’s got her tagline up here, which is, “Health, wealth, wisdom, essential.” I’ll describe her homepage first. Actually, the first image that we get to is coming up right now, and it’s this green leaf. It just shows off some great vitality and wellness. Then, as we go through, she has some quotes. “Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens.” Jimi Hendrix. “Seek adventures that open your mind.” Then, “Healthy body, healthy mind, healthy life.”

Her brother is a professional photographer, so she has some beautiful imagery from him that she’s using on her website. Love it. As we scroll down, we see her blog article. She’s got three here to start with. I’ll let you take a look and read them. Goal setting, and she has a little bit on washing your face or essential oils, and then, “When I grow up,” some information about her inspiration and her grandmother. As I scroll down, you also see a picture of Emiley. There she is. A little information about her. You can read more on her about page or email her. Then, here’s her Facebook page. You go right to it. Then, also see a live feed from her Facebook.

Then, she’s got a few pages here. Her about page has a picture of her, and then tells you how she found her calling, how she got started. Her services page tells you about her coaching and her classes. There’s some information there. Then, she as a testimonials page with quotes from her clients about their work with her. Here’s another way to access her blog. Then, a contact page. You can just use a form if you like, or email her, whichever one. She’s got her Facebook link right up here, as well as her email. Emiley Kelley, she is an amazing woman who has a wealth of knowledge about health and wellness. She is also a distributor for doTERRA Essential Oils, and she loves educating communities about wellness, and preventative wellness in particular. All right, I hope you check out her website, EmileyKelley.com. Thanks a lot.

[CASE STUDY: AFTER] CAREER TRANSITION AND LIFE COACH WEBSITE RE-DESIGN

Hi, It’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative, and today we’re showing off the finished web site for Kerstin Mcinnis. Kerstin’s site has actually been up for a little while, but I wanted to highlight some of the features of her web site and some of the things that we changed.

One of the things we did is we did a whole overhaul of images on her site. She’s moved from Seattle to Portland so we wanted to show off Portland in the background. We did some new head shots and showed off her bright and shiny smile. We also redid her logo, which is just beautiful and represents a lot of different deep things about Kerstin that you can definitely contact her about.

Some of the words that we have here on her web site come straight from her clients and some of the issues that they’re having, or some of the things that come up for them, and we wanted to be sure to change the copy so that it is speaking directly to her ideal clients and that they can see themselves here working with her, working side-by-side, and find out what that’s like. That’s where that comes from.

We also added … Kerstin added a couple different packages, so whether it’s just leaving your comfort zone, what is that like, all the way to transforming your life. What does that mean? Her blog, so Kerstin is prolific and has such deep and wonderful, thoughtful blog articles that she posts every Monday. This is an important part of her site.

We also have a testimonial here and then some more photos from Kerstin. We also added some links to her social media here. If we go to, for example, her coaching page, we’ll just go through each page of the site. This is how to work with her. What’s her background? She spent eighteen years in corporate working for Microsoft and she understands what it’s like to be in that arena and to want to grow, or change, or do something different and so she wants to bring that to other people.

She also offers workshops so this is one she has going on right now: Is Your Work in Alignment with Your Values? That is something that we can all ask ourselves. Client feedback, this is some of the feedback that she’s gotten from her clients and what they have to say about working with her. We are also able to get permission and use their head shots.

Here is her blog. There are some great answers here to the question, “Why do I coach?” Lessons Learned as a Solopreneur, and Mentoring Young Women.

There you have it. The web site for Kerstin Mcinnis. She is a career transition and life coach. Check it out at kerstinmcinnis.com. Thanks a lot.

[CASE STUDY: BEFORE] RESTAURANT

Hi, it’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative. Today I’m really excited to show you the “before” version of The Asian Mint website. They have 2 restaurants, the Asian Fusion Café in Highland Park and the Asian Mint Fusion Café and Dessert Bar at 75 and Forest Lane. Their website when you get to it has these 2 versions and so we’re going to chose 1 of them and go to their homepage.

You see here they have some images, they also have a Facebook like, the newsletter sign up and ways to find them on Facebook and Twitter. If you go to their “about” page you can read a little bit about them. They also have you can download or order online and you can also see it in the PDF viewer. There it is. Then there’s some specials and there’s a way to contact them on the screen. Also you can go back to their main page up here. There we go.

If I go to their other site, also similar and then we can also scroll through. They also have a location page. Then the menu, and they also take reservations right here. If I click on the reservations tab that’ll take me to be able to reserve a table for them. There you have it, The Asian Mint website. Thanks a lot.

[CASE STUDY: AFTER] POST PRODUCTION WEBSITE

Hi, it’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative, and today we are unveiling the website for Bree Mullen. She has a retouching and post-production website, and it’s very sleek and modern, also just minimalistic. She lets her images just speak for themselves. We’re going to go to her about page next, and I’m just going to scroll through so you can see this new, beautiful website. This is a little bit about Bree, and then I’ll show you her portfolio. Also, keep in mind her website is extremely visual, and so the quality of her images is very important. What she shows here are the after effect, and then the before side by side. Here is after, and then here you see before, with the lighting, and how they created that image.

This image is also fascinating, just because the original image is beautiful, and you can see some of the things that she did to really make it pop, and then also it’s featured on the South Asian Bride Magazine. I love this retouching that she did here, and just the dramatic way that she used light. She just removed the reflection there, but you can scroll through. She has several images for you to look at, and then I’m going to go to her facts page. These can be expanded, the questions, so that you can get your frequently asked questions answered here. There’s also a client page, and so it is password-protected, and I’m going to put in her password, just so you can see this new order form.

This is the area where you can place your order, and see the different prices, and also services that she provides. You can upload your files right here. She only allows her current clients to go into that client area. Once you become a client, this is just an easy way for you to enter what you need, and then upload your files. This is her contact area and form. There you have it. Briemullinretouch.com. Thanks a lot.

[CASE STUDY: BEFORE] CAREER TRANSITION AND LIFE COACH

Hi it’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative and today I’m showcasing a sight we did for Dawn Janson with a positive companion. Dawn specializes in a method called T touch and she solves difficult pet behavioral problems.

This is here homepage, she’s got some beautiful images on her slider and then she has a welcome as the Founder and Owner of Positive Companion. She has a little bit about her philosophy and them some examples. When you take your dog for a walk he pulls on the leash, he barks at every little thing, your dog hates riding in the car and is reactive to other dogs, jumps, lunges and barks at other dogs or is fearful of loud noises like thunder or fireworks. For any pet that is nervous, anxious, hyperactive, restless, destructive.

I think it’s pretty amazing what she does so this is a little bit about Dawn on the next page here, her About Page. She is updating some of the images so you’ll see another update from us, little bit about her work and then here is the dog Chris that inspired her to do her work. She says she wanted to help Chris be more comfortable because he would coward and run from other dogs and somebody suggested that she try T touch. She’d never heard of it and she herself went to a 2 day workshop in Portland and was amazed at the difference in Chris at the end of 2 days. Now she’s taking that and turning it around to help other pets and pet owners.

Some of her services, she does private training, group workshops, seminars and demonstrations. She has a list of the behavioral and medical issues that she’s been able to not only see in her work but also help pets with. This is an upcoming event that she’s having for how to help your dog be calm and confidant through T touch on May 14 and 15. We’re able to add a Paypal button for people to go ahead and sign up. This is her registration form so she knows a little bit more about the dog. She has some amazing testimonials of her happy clients and they are just really grateful, thankful testimonials which you could read on her testimonials page. She’s starting to put together a helpful links page and just some sources that she knows will be helpful for pet owners.

There’s also a contact form so you can message her directly, you don’t have to even log into your own email to contact her but you can also just give her a call. There’s also links to Dawn’s social media. The Positive Companion influencing positive change in your pet.
