[CASE STUDY: BEFORE] PAWSITIVE COMPANION

Hi, it’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative and today we are showing off the “before” website for the Pawsitive Companion. This is the homepage and so you’ll see it has some information about T Touch which is a method that Dawn uses to help with animals and pets. Then here are the seminars and classes page, the “about” page, contact, and success stories. That gives you some idea of what the site was like before and in a little while I’m going to do another screen-cast video for their redesign. Thanks a lot.

[CASE STUDY: AFTER] REAL ESTATE BROKER WEBSITE

Hi, it’s Molly Lucas from Sacred Fire Creative. Today we’re unveiling the website for Victoria Marchese, a real estate broker from the Meadows Group in Portland, Oregon. We wanted to feature her warm and friendly personality. We redesigned her logo and redid her head shots, and also feature this header prominently on her website. We also have her social media profiles here, her Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest, as well as a place for people to subscribe to her email newsletter. In the center is her menu for the website.

Then at the bottom here you will see a slider. The first slider is actually for sellers who are interested in marketing their home. The second slide is for homebuyers who need help not only finding that home but also negotiating a great deal. That last slide is for anyone who’s looking for a very caring and determined agent.

As we scroll down, we can also read more about Victoria and learn that she is easy to work with, market-savvy, and patient. On the left hand side we have success stories so that people know what their experience might be like. On the right hand is a call to action for home sellers, so people can find out what their home is worth.

As we scroll down, the website takes us right into Victoria’s blog articles. She has a market update for November that she’s posted recently. On the right hand side we also have a call to action for buyers. We have also related posts underneath that blog post, and then a second blog post. You will see the archives and categories on the side. Victoria’s focused on green homes and healthy living.

For the Meadows Group she has her logo here, her office information and contact information. There are links to her five-star reviews, to Yelp, Zillow, and Trulia. Then, again, a place for users to subscribe to her email newsletter.

If we go back up to the top, and we’ll notice her menu here. We’ll go to her about page. You can see the beautiful photos we have of her. We can also learn about her and see her professional bio here.

With these links we can learn what it’s like to work with Victoria as a buyer. These are all of the different factors, including resources and what it’s like to have an agent relationship, how to get preapproved, home inspections. Then for selling, we also have some categories there: what it’s like to work with her as a seller’s agent. I’ll take you over to our success stories so you can see that we’ve added the photos with permission of her clients, and their quotes. It’s just words coming straight from them. We’ve pulled some of these quotes from their rating sites: Zillow, Trulia, LinkedIn, and Yelp. These links also go to her pages on those sites.

We also have community resources and a contact page where you can send her a message directly, and also get directions to her office. There is a sidebar here that pulls out with just another set of quick links, and then also a search feature. I hope you’ve enjoyed the site. Thank you so much.

[CASE STUDY: AFTER] HORSE SANCTUARY

Hi there. It’s Malee Lucas from Sacred Fire Creative, and today, we are showing off the redesign site for HeartSpace Horse Sanctuary & Healing Center. One of the things that we did that is really different from the old website is we really featured the horses and how this experience is heart-centered and based around the horses and healing through the experience with horses. We actually went out to the ranch in Redmond, Oregon, and we did a couple photo shoots out there. Some of that is displayed in this website.

Here is the home page. You’ll see her logo, her new business title, and then, also, some experience, down here, with what they do. Melanie does individual coaching. She also does self-awareness workshops and customized workshops for groups. You can read more about those, from the home page, by clicking those “Read More” buttons. She’s got a simple call to action, once again involved, so you can get in touch with her. That takes you to the contact page. She has her location, so you can find her Healing Center, Sanctuary and Healing Center, as well as her email address and phone number. There’s also some more photos of the space, down below.

All right, so now, you’ll notice at the top, she has some information about the experience, so what’s it like to have that horse/human relationship. An adorable picture of her with one of her horses. The horses are just featured prominently. It’s a very simple website. It’s actually a work in progress, and we’re going to be changing some of the site this week, actually. I wanted to show you what it looks like. We wanted something that was modern and full of imagery, so you can see all the different areas.

It’s very simple. There’s not a lot of text. It’s just very … very much an experience there, of being with the horses. There’s a little information about the work, although some of that changing, I know. Then, for the horses, what’s really nice is we have a section here on why- why do you want to work with horses and how they’re amazing. We also have this gallery of photos. You can actually click on a thumbnail, brings up a bigger image, and you can flip through the photos. There are- Let’s see, I think, fifty-five photos of the horses so a lot of beautiful images.

Then Melanie wanted, also, profiles for each horse. Down below, you’ll see a small slideshow of all of the photos for this horse, Prema. Then, again, for Scout, and then Valzara or Val. Then Nehalem, Shekinah, Athena. What’s nice is these slides- They automatically play, but you can also click through them, if you’re looking for a certain horse. You can look at it, and say, “Okay, yes. That is the one I want to work with.” Gracie, Ali … Some of the horses are so picturesque. These horses were rescued. I’m so impressed with Melanie and what she’s doing over there, at her Horse Sanctuary.

Then, for the space, we’ll show off some more photography because the space is really about the land. You’ll see here … This was taken during the summer. You can see all the mountains in the background and just the beauty of the land. Again, for this section, you can click here. It brings up that Lightbox, so you can see the fifteen photos of the space, including the arena and the Healing Center. There’s a smaller building where you can hold groups and workshops, and it’s adjacent to where the horses are and their stalls. That’s the Healing Center building again … and the barn … and the arena.

You can read some information about Melanie, as the guide, and where she was trained and some of her background. Then, there’s also contact information, with a map to her location … also, a link to her Facebook page. If you click here to ask a question, it brings up a sidebar where you can just easily send her a note. Otherwise, you can just email her directly. You have the contact information there. That’s it. That is the HeartSpace Horse Sanctuary & Healing Center. Hope you like it. Thanks a lot.

[CASE STUDY: BEFORE] REAL ESTATE BROKER WEBSITE

Hi everyone, it’s Malee from Sacred Fire Creative, and today we’re doing a case study to show you the before for a web site for a real estate broker. I’m going to show you, just in general, what her site is like so I’ll click a few of these just so you get a sense of her site. There she is. It has a little bit about her and some testimonials. All right, so I think that gives you just a quick sense of what her site is like and we will be back with the case study after when we’re all finished with her site. Thanks a lot.
